I have a 1988 honda accord lx. Fixed fueling problem i thought last weekend. I installed a new fuel pump because i checked all wiring to the fuel pump and found fuel pump not engaging. Installed new fuel filters and Tried a couple times and car started right up. car was idled high @ about 2500 rpms. Idled down to about 1000 rpms and ran good last week. Tried to start car today and wouldn't ever start. Made sure had plenty of gas and tried to get started for over an hour. finally had to add a little gas to carb and that didn't work. So ended up laying a towel over the carb and car finally started up, but didn't really sound good. Let car run for over an hour and started to run ok, but still was running rough @ idle. When car is running @ 2000 rpms it sounds fine but when u let it idle @ 1000 rpms it sounds like it wasn't to cut off and starts vibrating car. Any information will be valuable really need some help before this weekend thats 2 days from now so please give me some type of info. thanks in advance
