...OBD1 guts.? it would run with the other ECU (OBD0) but wouldn't tach over 4 grand because that ecu wasn't chipped for v-tec or wired. Now with the OBD1 ecu + conversion harness, it won't start. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any opinions or thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on getting a new OBD1 virgin P28, new wiring harness, Y8 injectors, and I'm not sure about the distributor, if I got a Y8 dizzy which is OBD2 would that work with the OBD1 wiring? Anyway, thanks ahead of time.

if your making it obd 1 then stay obd 1...dont use obd2 parts...the dizzy should be converted to obd1...after you slap on the conversion plug, it didnt start?? did you already route a vtec line?? and what ecu did you try using??what if the conversion wire or ecu is bad....
