Usually the dome light on my 98 Passport is in the "door" position, as opposed to On or Off.

The other day, while driving, the dome light came on (while in door position). Very strange...I went ahead and turned it off.

Later in the day the alarm went off while the vehicle was parked. This has happened several times now and only if the doors are locked.

With the doors unlocked, no alarm problems.

Also, keyless remote has decided to work only intermittently.

So the three issues are all tied together: dome light randomly coming on and staying on in the "door" position, alarm randomly going off while car is unlocked, and keyless remote only sometimes working.

I replaced the battery today and still have the same issues.

Any insight on what might be the cause of these problems, along with possible solutions, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
