When I shift gears going down the road it seems okay. But if I stop, take it out of gear, and lift up the clutch, then engage the clutch again, it's hard to get it into first gear. Does it need adjusting? I've had it adjusted once to remove the air out of the hydraulic lines. I also realize that it will feel different from the old clutch. But just how should the clutch feel when I'm changing gears?

If it's just the FEELING, you'll get used to it. But if it's hard to get in gear, go back and have them make it right.How SHOULD it feel? Can you tell me how SHOULD it feel when you eat ice cream?

Your clutch should feel smooth and kinda stiff when you press it down it should actually let you switch gears when you press the clutch 1/4 of the way down.It sounds like you need to mess with the clutch adjustment on the back of the clutch pedal you cannot miss it.try this and see if it works and make sure that you have no air in the system.

your having a problem with clutch hydraulics's there is no adjustment,have the shop bleed clutch hydraulic system & check it for leaks this should take care of your problem. it should not cost you to have them bleed system it should have been done with clutch job
