Honda says the car is too practical. I believe it is. They haven't release a new design is ages! Either they do it now or discontinue it. But let's be serious. The world is going in a recession. People are loosing jobs where they can't even buy gas. It was smart of them to pull out the S2000 because right now, not many will buy them. Let's face it, the S2000 is the sportiest cars in Honda. But what sells more/better? The S2000 or a Civic? If you still like a sporty Honda, go for a Civic Si or a Acura. Those are your best bets. So long to the S2K. Many will miss you!!

I owned a 2005 S2000 and I loved the car, worth every penny in my book but most people feel that the car is overpriced for the performance you get. Sales for the car have never been extraordinary but now they're worse than ever. It's time...either Honda needed to perform an overhaul of the S2000 or release a replacement for it...guess they felt it was a better idea to discontinue it.I'm shooting for a S2000 CR before the end of the year...hopefully I'll be able to find a dealership that had already ordered one so I don't have to pay MSRP for it. Last year I saw a CR go for $33,000 at Gunn Honda..

awesome car but it is time for a redesign and they just arent selling enough of them in this crappy economy to warrant it. Hopefully a new one will come out once this is all over.
