Default Repair to T reg Honday Civic wing mirror?

Someone has broken the spring mechanism on my wing mirror, glass intact. What is the best way of repairing and is it too much for your average DIYer

Get yourself a new side mirror from ebay. Unscrew the old one out detach the wire harness, then reattach the wire harness to the new one and screw the bolts back in from the inside:http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...0339442268Good luck!
