I was wondering if you would do that, for an example audi a4 1.8t it has stock turbo would you add a different kind of turbo into it? if you wouldn't would you add a blow off valve?

it really depends on what you want to gain and how far u r willing 2 go. if u just wanted 2 be a boy racer and let other motorist know u had a turbo then sure go 4 the bolt-ons like pods, exhaust and blow offs if u want 2 be ALL SHOW AND NO GO, on the other hand if u were bout performance stock turbos are quite restricted in how much power u can gain ( not all but most stock factory turbos ). bigger does not always mean better, wrong size turbo can make your motor slower and less powerful and less responsive than stock. so make sure you talk 2 a pro when matching a turbo 2 your motor.

it is possible, but really not worth the effort. changing the turbo will take alot of life off of the car but not add a whole lot of performance. in other words, not worth the money

Not accurate.

Any turbo can perform on any car. It's a matter of what turbo you use. A small turbo will spool faster and puts you into boost sooner than a large turbo, but runs out of room to create power sooner. A large turbo takes longer to spool but provides more punch later in the power band.

As it is with any car, regardless of the make, if you are going to modify things like a turbo, you MUST get it tuned by a reputable tuner using quality parts. If you fail to tune it, then you will jeopardize the reliability and dependability of the car. A car runs as well as its tune.
