the tire is just stuck that's all, just go from the side and kick the wheel at a perpendicular angle(from the inside).the wheel will come right off.

hit it with an 8 pd. slug hammer it will come right off had the same problem b4

use a little blunt force, usually a little kick or something will break it lose.

sometimes when the wheel hasn't been removed for some time the wheel will rust to the rotor and do what everyone else said and either kick the tire or hit the sidewall of the tire, not the rim, with a hammer.

Just give it a little bit of love (kick it) it should come right off...It's just stuck is all.

Put all the lug nuts back on, just turned in a couple of threads, lower car so most of the weight is on the tire, lean against the fender and give the car a couple of shoves side to side, the wheel should pop loose, it works on my 03 Accord, besides I hate to smack the rim or tire.Mike

if the wheel is really stuck on put the lug nuts back on a bit and drive the car slow and hit the brakes and cut the wheels, and back up and cut the wheels and hit the brakes over and over again till it loosens. worked on my old civic when the rim was seized on.
