The governor is typically located in the speed sensor on the transmission. I'm not sure if the two are built together on that car but if you are able to remove it, your car will no longer be programmed to shut itself off at a higher speed.

no, it is in the firmware that controls the engine - some performance chips remove that section of the code.

Get a new ecu. Just curious though, if you want to go fast, then why didn't you get an si?

the speed limiter is in the computer,you cat remove it,a chip will change it
