I have a d15b7 in my 92 civic HB now and i want to put a vtec head on my block now? what all will i need? or what engine would swap right in? and what ecu would i need?

Ok best bet would get a D16Z6 found in 92-95 EX's and Si's basic swap remove old head and place new and get a VX belt P28 ECU OBD-1.Ok my story love telling it I owned 1995 Civic Hatchback DX I race stock car against V6 Eclipses, Mustang, etc Civic Si with mods and beat them simple even kept up with a GSR integra up till 3rd stock, story is it was quick I bought a Civic Si tranny swap it over and ran faster before I ran 15.8 1/4 stock vs I believer 16's and after I ran 15.2 not amaze fast but quick with intake header exhaust and 50 shot in the mid 14's

But for a little cash and a little work you could do a B16 for around $2,000 or any other B series for a little more or even a H22 or K20... but nothing other than a D series will just swap right in without a lot of parts, some know-how and a lot more money. my friend has a 91 hb with a b16 swapped into it. i would go with a b16 because its not that much work to do the swap, or if you want to spend the extra money, get a b18 or an h22

im doing a head swap for my h23 block and putting the h22 vtec head on it. i ran into a problem with a short timing belt. anybody?
