Default 92 civic EX(standard) -ECU/ECM- on a 92 civic DX?

I went to junkyard for an ecu replacement for my 92 DX(auto), but all I found where those on standard EX's.
Are the computers on both civics the same?.....Can i replace the ECU on my Dx with one from an EX, or are they completely different? How are they different?

Thanks.
