Hi, I’m having some trouble trying to hook up an aftermarket radio into my 94 civic. The radio was stolen and the wires were cut so I cant just hook up an adapter. So far all the speakers are hooked up and the ground is hooked. The only wires left are the constant and the ignition. The ignition wire has juice when I put the key in, but the white/blue wire, which is supposed to be the constant is constantly dead. In fact when I hook up the white/blue wire with power it lights up the clock, which by the way doesn’t work either. But I found a solid yellow wire that doesn’t seem to be part of the bunch of radio wires that are there. I’m also looking at the list of wires that install Dr has listed and I don’t see a solid yellow, what is this wire for? Should I use it as a constant for the radio? What is the yellow supposed to be for?

I thought red was constant. But if it is, check the fuses. They may have shorted it out when jacking the old one.

If I remember correctly, the yellow wire is a Memory wire that goes to a fuse to keep your presets, etc.

Well the yellow wire is the power wire it is the constant. the blue and white wire is the remote wire for Subwoofer. Black is ground wire
