should I change my transmission fluid?
I purchased a honda accord 99 ex v6 about 6 months back. I've done the basics, oil change, oil filter, air filter, seafoam, pcv. Now I want to change the transmission oil. I got the OEM honda ATF 4 quarts just incase. I called a machanic and asked how much it would would cost? He asked how many miles it had and if the transmission oil was ever changed. - told him I don't know if the pervious owner ever change it. He told me I wouldn't recommend it. Then he gives me an example, its like a house with old heat pipes if you change one everything goes wrong. Does anyone recommend it? Ps car has 130k
