not be worth it? I want manual because the automatic makes it feel too slow. I hate turning and feeling automatic lag--esppecially when trying to get on highways.. A buddy of mine told me that this swap for a manual tranny would cost a lot and not be worth the money. Is this the truth?

I have done it on a EG hatch, if your good with turning a wrench and good with wiring, you can get the necessary parts for around 8-1200 at most, the easiest way is just buying a car that is already manual, but it can be done and isn't that hard to do on a civic if you know what your doing and got the parts and tools, don't try it without having an air supply for air tools, and it is much easier doing it with a hydrualic lift
