just to let your engine breathe easy, get a cold air intake and a free-flow exhaust system. this makes pedal response faster, and a full intake-exhaust system can add between 8-15HP, sometimes even more (depends on the output of the engine in stock form). for a little more power, you can add a light-pressure turbo and everything that goes with it (turbo timer, etc), that's maybe another 20HP. however, slapping on a turbo does bad to your insurance, so you might wanna think twice about that.also think twice about getting an engine swap, it's really complicated no matter how good the mechanic is, things can go wrong and you'll be coming back to your mechanic every couple of weeks because of leaking oil, burned wires, or whatever.
