My son has a 2000 honda accord and needs to replace the passenger side low beam bulb. He bought a replacement bulb at napa, he is out of work and really can't afford to buy a whole manual to replace this bulb. Previously a honda technician was able to help with some questions on the transmission. Can anyone give a step-by-step guide to installing this bulb? He seems to be confused by some phillip head screws that are near the back of the bulb. I told him they are probably for adjustment and I believe a tube is in the way (air intake?) so it would probably be easy for someone who has done this a few times. I can't physically help him since he is in WA and I am in CA. So thank you, if you can give us a blow-by-blow account on how to do this without screwing anything up.

why didn't he ask the parts guy to do it. I sell NAPA parts and I change bulbs, wipers, and batteries all the time.

There is no way that accord came with a 2.4 liter motor.Since the air tube is in the way, pull up on it to get it out. Unscrew the bulb 1/8 turn counterclockwise, and pull the bulb out. Disconnect the wiring. Reconnect wiring to new bulb, put bulb in, screw in clockwise 1/8 turn. It's really not that hard.
