and camshaft, why is ? just yesterday i sent my car in for a new water pump and timing belt because it was leaking coolant, the mechanic called me and said u neede d a new camshaft seal, altogether this cost me 350.00, today i picked it up and it was still leaking and then it overheated on me, causing my car to shut off and on until i got home, then it just shut off, i have to bring it back to the mechanic monday morning, why is it overheating? i am so pissed off , somebody please help me with some valid answers or options.

Where is the coolant leaking from now? Is it coming from the coolant reserve tank because of the radiator cap relieving pressure due to the engine overheating?It could be that when he/she filled the system with coolant the system may not of been bled of air, there is a bleeder just for this purpose either on the intake manifold or near the thermostat housingThis will create a pocket of air within the cooling system, causing an overheating problem, liquid cooled engines are just that, they are not happy when air is used as a cooling mediumDon't drive it at all, lest you risk expensive engine damage !
