is a 1991 honda civic hatchback 5 speed, but it does not have any manuals or badges I mean the type of engine (b16a, b18 etc...)

look at your motor. It will say something like 1.8L, 1.6L, etc on the top of the engine. And if it says "V-tech", then obviously it is a V-tech, 1.8L, 1.6L, etc.

find out what model it is and google it

look on your block, there's a little metal square & that'll tell you the engine code. if it has the stock engine, then its a d12b

most likely it is a d15

most likely your engine is either a ZC, or a d15b7, or a d16.open the hood and look for a small square in the front of the engine similar to this.http://asia.vtec.net/topics/engcode1...ngcode.jpgjust like that only you prob dont have a b16.

Locate your upper radiator hose, and look in the area below it, right where the transmission bolts to the engine block. There should be what look like a flat square area, with numbers on it on the engine block side. The first row should read something like "D15B1, D15B2, or D16A6" if you live in the United States.It may be hard to see, they are usually caked in oil, dirt, and what have you, but it is there.Your 1991 Civic Hatchback, if it is a U.S. car, should either have a D15B1, D15B2, or a D16A6 engine in it, as long as it is stock, and has never been swapped.
