i would do a bit of resaerch before doing things like turbo charger, just do the basics for now intake, exhaust, header, then change the cams, pulleyes ect upgrade internals then go boosted or go home =]

a new exhaust system, cost-$200, cold air intake-$250, power programmer look at hypertech-$350 and if you want to go crazy an hks twin scroll tubrocharger but that requires alot of work and a pretty penny of about anywhere from $1500-$2000 but do the first 3 i told u, u will gain about 45 hp with all 3 of those and just to let you know higher octance gas does not give you more performance, the higher the octance the higher knocking resistance in the enigne, my source for that is motortrend, hope this helps answer your question

If really depends on your budget and power goal. If it has a 2.2 liter VTEC 4cyl, that is an excellent base for performance mods.I'd start with a cold air intake. That will add about 8-10 horsepower and cost about $250. It will also make your engine look better.http://www.2kracing.com/Category/Hon...take.htmlNext, I'd look into headers and a cat-back exhaust system. That will cost about $700 for the parts, but will give you a big horsepower gain. It will also make your car sound a lot nicer. http://www.2kracing.com/Product/1835...uct/36.htmlYou may also want to look into a short throw shifter and aftermarket cam gears.http://www.2kracing.com/Product/1178.htmlHope that helps!Don't listen to all these people recommending turbo kits. VTEC motors have a stock high compression ratio which is COMPLETELY unsuitable for a turbo kit unless you change the heads, cam, and pistons. That would cost an arm and a leg! VTEC motors are designed to make a lot of naturally aspirated power without a power adder such as a turbo or supercharger.

dude, honda's are designed as economical commuter transportation, not race cars. You can dump a bunch of money into it with useless junk like cold air intakes and coffee can exhaust pipes and you will do very little to improve performance (although it may make more noise). You would do better by selling the car and purchasing a decent performance car. Besides, once you start modifying a honda, it becomes worthless in the used car market. Nobody wants a riced up piece of crap.

Your car has a H22 motor which is a great starting foundation... there are many approaches on making your car faster.. it all depends on how much power u want or how much money you have to spend ..since you would like to know prices im assuming you dont want to spend alot, so the easiest way for noticeable power is remove all restrictions from your car, I would start with replacing:Air Intake - $200 (AEM Cold Air)Intake Manifold - $250 (Skunk2)Exhaust Manifold- $400 (DC Headers 4-1)Throttle Body - $200 (BBK or Skunk2 68mm)Catback Exhaust $400 - $700 (Price depends on brand .. get 2.25")Ignition $300 (MSD CAL)Ignition Wires $150 (Nology Hot Wires)Tunning ROM $250 (Apex VAFC II)The power you will make with these boltons will very noticeable especially if your have a experienced technician Tune your Rom properly
