Turbo will destroy any supercharger in a civic plus its better on gas and with a 4 banger ur gonna hit ur high revs fast anyways so theres no point in gettin a supercharger unless ur drivin a V8 imoi have a friend who worked for sportscarmotion and they made an EG hatch with 700 some on hpSI = DOHC for thos who don't kno not to mention anything over the year 2000 has DOHC

Hey dummie, why don't you get a real car instead of shelling out cash on a crappie cheap civic. I don't understand why you'd paid $15K for a cheap car and shell out double or triple that to upgrade it. Just buy a freaking BMW M3 or a Lotus or something descent, you dummie!

You need to state if its a single over head cam or double! If its single I would for sure go with a Supercharger if its double id go with the twin turdo.

yes superchargers add power to the lower revs, but HONESTLY are you really going to spend much time below 3k rpm when you are pushing itplus turbos can give you larger net gains

Turbos use to have lag, now the lag is little you cannot feel it. Trust me, I have a B18c5 running 15 pounds of boost ,does great.

In theory, a turbocharger is more efficient because it is using the "wasted" energy in the exhaust stream for its power source. On the other hand, a turbocharger causes some amount of back pressure in the exhaust system and tends to provide less boost until the engine is running at higher RPMs. Superchargers are easier to install but tend to be more expensive.
