Default CPS (Crankshaft Positioning Sensor) Question For A '93 Honda Civic?

so I ran a diagnostic on my civic because my check engine light is on, the computer told me that the problem lies in the CPS (Crankshaft Positioning Sensor). I actually have a series of questions: Where is the sensor located? how much might the sensor run me? can i replace it myself? if not, where can I take it to get it done (other than the fascist dealership)?

Inside the distributor, not available separately, usually broken because of the distributor shaft bearing.Replace the distributor housing will take care of it.Easy to replace, just have to remember where things are.

replace the dist w preferably new one ( not reman). easy install, MAKE CERTAIN it is flush with the head before tightening screws ( 3 12mm headed screws)before removing old check the position of the old dist in the head( mounting boss is slotted) replace nrew dist as close as possible to this same posiotion.if it runs bad afterwards get ignition tin=ming checked/set at a shop (won't be much)cps is in dist and not serviceable w/o whole dist.
