Default What kind of maintenance do I need on my Honda Civic?

I bought my used 1994 Honda Civic DX Coupe at 95,000 miles. It has an aftermarket suspension. Three years later now it is at 125,000 miles. All I've done the whole time is just to change the engine oil. Do I need to do anything else to it? (i.e. flush/change transmission fluid). I will be taking it into the shop to get the front axel + cv joint + boot replaced soon and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I have a 99 civic dx and have had the timing belt/water pump changed and if this goes you might as well kiss the car goodbye becuase you will nede a new engine. Your taking a chance if this belt has not been replaced.

When was the last time you changed the timing belt? when it snaps you lost the whole engine. Thats OK, Honda will charge you $1000 to do the job correctly, and you are supposed to do it every 50K!Honda sucks huh?

Was the timing belt done at 90K The other things should be spark plugs, fuel filter, pcv valve, maybe cap, rotor and wires if they haven't been done. Fluid changes are always great to keep everything in good shape- if you wait til they fluids are dark sometimes that can reduce the life of the component involved !! Did you get any records when you bought the car ? Hope that helps- email me if you have any more questions
