Default Engine r tranny swap..?

was thinking bout doing a engine swap in my 07 civic lx to an si or accord engine.. All the work needed though kinda intimidates me, and id like to do as much of the work as possible myself. Was thinking bout instead, doing a tranny swap and getting a tranny from another car or (idk if they make aftermarket trannys for certain cars) and pairing it with a nice stage 2-3 clutch.. And then just turboing the civic engine and replacing the internals to get about 12-15 psi of boost. would this be a better/easier plan than doing a complete engine swap? any suggestions/advice/warnings would be appreciated.true.. i was thinking bout turning my car into a show car.. purely visuals... and buying either a 93 rx-7 or a 97 del sol for my project car..
