Default Short Shift Kit for 1999 Civic Si

I was wondering what a quality short shift kit would be. I want to reduce the length of the throw of my shifts as much as possible without having a much shorter shifter. I think Neuspeed makes a kit thats a whole mechanical contraption that smooths out shifting and makes the throws alot shorter. Im not trying to spend a ton of money on this, but i do want this addition to my car. Im not a pubescent kid that wants to trick out my car so it looks good or sounds really really loud and obnoxious. I love driving. I want to have the quickest car I can with the budget I have. I like driving in the mountains, so quick shifting is key. Thanks for the advice.
