Default HONDA SWAP, ANY IDEAS?

so i'm gonna drop a b20b block in my eg, i plan to go with gsr heads and a type r tranny, but this is the first time i do a full swap, i know i have to change harness, mounts, axles and all that stuff, any other mess i might encounter other then the obvious?

I think you need to swap it out for a 2001 D series 1.7 liter from a Honda Civic HX. You will be the most fuel efficient of all your friends.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the B20B block. Find the B20Z block instead and go from there.*Sidenote* If you are planning to go "All Motor" go with the B20Z block as it has a higher compression ratio. If you are planning to go with forced or chemical induction (boost or nitrous) go with the B20B because of its lower compression ratio."Frankenstein" motors like the CR-VTEC can be problamatic unless built properly. I highly suggest you re-build your block accordingly to handle the stress of running a high reving VTEC motor.Another suggestion would be to ditch the GS-R cylinder head idea. It will work and isn't a bad idea but I HIGHLY recommend finding a cylinder head from a B16.The Type R tranny is a good idea too, but the only real difference between this tranny and many of the others Honda produced for the B-series is the ratio of the Final Gear and the addition of a LSD (limited slip differential). It would probably be more cost effective to pick up an S80 tranny out of a 99-00 Si and buy a LSD.These are just a few suggestions you might want to consider before you get started on your build.
