Default What is a fast and powerful tuner engine that will fit in a 1990 honda accord coupe?
Price is not that much of an issue but keep it reasonable I don't race professionally. Really just looking for a good quality replacement that can be modified and turned into a hobby.

A b16a should be more than enough for your car.

check ebay for 1990 accord motor mounts. That will tell you which engines will fit. they probably make mounts for most honda motors. I would go with a B series over an H22

i would go with an H22 for your car. it is a fairly common swap into accords so there are plenty of parts to do it. you will need some Hasport engine mounts, and you can buy a complete swap with everything you need from www.hmotorsonline.com

Okay...into your 90 accord...the only way to go is h22a. The above me...don't know what the hell they are talking about. Putting a b series motor into an accord. Yeah its guys like those who give guys like me a bad name. Anyway, go h22a.
