Default I'm too short for a Honda Civic?

My dad gave me the new honda civic and I can't see over the top of the car so I get scared when I try to park because I can't see if I fit in the parking space. I tried sitting on a pillow but I still can't see. Any recommendations?http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/...2031990005.jpg

You can try to adjust the seat to suit your visibility.

This is the design of the new Civic. You could be with your head touching the roof and you still won't see the front end. You will just need to learn not to pull all the way up to a curb.

I have a 95 civic, and it was hard getting used to it, they just sit different I guess, you'll get used to how big the car is I guess.

sorry to say but th ats how the current shape civic is i was looking at one to buy brand new but found i could not see to park - i think after quite some time of driving the car you will get use to the length of the car, i could adjust the seat up to maximum height and it made no diffrence all i could see was t he windscreen /sheild wipers and nothing else of the bonnent. I peresonally chose to buy a honda jazz or else known as the honda Fitz and found even that little bubble a little hard to park for the first few months but now even though i dont see a bonnet i can park that little car in the tightest of spots where other big cars cannot fit i squeeze inbetween!!= happy motoring with your honda !! enjoy!!
