Default I have a 93 Honda Accord EX. How would I know if its the radiator fan relay.Fan only

comes on when air is on.? I had the thermostat changed. The radiator is not even 2 yrs old.The fan isn't coming on when I turn the engine off like it has normally been doing. Both fans come on if I turn the air on. Other than buying a new relay switch for the radiator fan,how would I know if that is the problem? I also put a new battery on it because it stopped cranking.

you have a 93 honda accord ex with a 4 c\ylinder 2.2 liter engine fuel injected. There are 2 fan motors --one is for the engine's radiator and one is for the A/C condenser coil located by the radiator. When you turn on the A/C you say that both fans turn on. So that means there is nothing wrong with the fan motors or the relays. Now heres where the problem most probably is. Its a bad temperature sensor. BUT there are 2. one is most probably just for the guage on the dashboard and the other is for the radiator fan. One is called ''Temperature switch'' and the other is called ''Coolant temperature sensor''. Maybe the parts store guy knows which is which. By the way if you go to Autozone.com you can look up a free online repair guide for your car. In fact that is where i got all this information. It was all under the heading of ''component locations'' which will tell you exactly where these parts are located.Go0d luck. it just dawned on me,,if you pull the wire plug off of the dashboard sensor the dial will drop. thats one way to find out which i which.
