Default Trunk of Honda Fit Sport (2005) closes but won't lock. Is it a problem? Or is there a button/switch?

I've a small issue with my Honda Fit Sport (year: 2005.) The huge door at the back of car (TRUNK) closes fine but it doesn't lock. Anyone can open up the trunk without key. Is there a button/switch inside the car which locks the trunk door? Or is it a problem?I thought that when I lock my doors, the trunk would be locked but it's not. It's very scary - esp. if a stranger opens it up. Help. Thank you.

it is probably a problem. the rearmost door should lock when the rest of the doors lock (it is treated like a fifth door, not really a trunk lid).at least, that's how the 07 and ups we have in the US work.
