Wow, really tough question to answer in today's car culture. Honestly, anything can be ricer if another person thinks it so. I know alot of inconsiderate d-bags from my car community (subaru) who call things ricer in spite of some of their modifications falling under that same catagory. So ultimately, do what you want and don't think otherwise.Either way, I think a nice set of wheels would look good. Tinted windows and maybe 2-3 decals at the most (and thats only if youre affiliated with any clubs/groups). No stereotypical ones like "NOS".Painted headlights/tailights look good as well. Try painting your wheel wells red, blue or black (depending on your car's color scheme). De-badging your car if your up for it. A possible custom paint job (without flames, sometimes stripes, numbers, or super light colors that make your car look as if it came outta a gumball machine). Slamming the car (lowering) looks good also.Keep this in mind- cars (mainly civics) are considered ricer because of the "modification without functionality" ideology. In other words, don't put super-omg-crazy bodykits or BOEING wings/spoilers on the trunk if u want that ideaology off your car. Chances are you won't be needing that kind of downforce, unless you're constantly driving at 120+mph. Also, non-functional hoodscoops are a big pet peeve of mine.

keep it simple. 16" rims or maybe 17", two-inch drop, very simple bodykits (just lips or something). also, you might need a hood with a scoop or vents to help cool your engine. if you wanna get a spoiler, get something that isn't too overboard, either. ducktails look fine, really. then get a real good paint job, but no graphics or whatever. just a really nice, shiny, eye-candy color. then get some tints, something that complements the paint job.or you can make everything over-the-top and just smoke anybody who calls you a ricer.
