Civic Si. Wanting to do something besides forced induction, he decided to swap in the powerful K20A2 from an RSX-S. He called on Car Version 2 for the project. Swapping out the Honda K20A3 engine for a K20A2 is a bold way of adding more power. The engine from an Acura RSX Type S has the same K20 designation as the newer Civic SI but they are not the same engine at all. On the exterior they pretty much look identical. Even many of the sensors and accessories are identical and can be crossed over. To assume that you can just bolt on a few performance mods to a K20A3 Civic engine and expect get the same performance as an RSX would be a very unwise assumption.
