Assuming you fixed the problem you can have somewhere like Autozone reset it or you can just unhook the battery for a minute or so. If you didn't fix the problem it will just come back on for either way.

Hold trip reset button in when turn ignition on,engine needs not start,let button go after seeing the light extinguished by itself.Done.
