Default Can a 2008 Honda Civic Sedan fit a family of five?

Me and my wife have three children ages 2,6 and 9. Right now the youngest is still in a car seat so there isnt a problem but I am thinking a few years down the road. I dont know how the middle rear seat will work when the youngest is five or six years old. Will they all still fit in the back or will I need to buy a bigger car and at what point will we outgrow the car? Any Civic owners out with similar family size feel free to jump in.

i think u would probably need a bigger car because my 2001 pontiac bonneville fits five adults but in the rear its a little crammed so a bigger car would be a better choice but u should want a few yrs to get a new car until they out grow it otherwise u wasted ur money on the civic and try not to buy new foreign cars go with ford or chevy because they have better reliability and are safer for a car full of people

Well the Civic sedan technically fits 5 people as it has 5 seats. But the middle rear seat is small. In 5 years your youngest will be 7, still small and young enough to fit the child in the middle of the rear seat. But once all the kids are in their early teens the back seat might be a little small, but you most likely will have another car by then so I think you are fine

The Civic has grown since its early days so a family of 5 should not be a problem (unless you all are overly obese-then even a Cadillac is not big enough). Really depends on your general body size for your "family". As the car will last 10 years; the 6 and 9 year old won't be riding with the family that much anyways-wanting to go on their own.

Well i have a honda civic and it can seat 5 17 years old. It does a cram in the back but i tihnk that you could wait until they are older to change cars.
