Default I have a 1995 honda civic and i lost the owners manual?

im just curious to find out what kind of oil is good for this car that helps the fuel efficiency. Also, how many quarts of oil does it need for when i do an oil change and also oil filter?...... I would prefer anyone with the same type of car as mine to reply or if you are extremely good with cars. thank you.

type in - castrol usa -, and go to -which oil to buy - in left hand column . It will ask you a series of questions and tell you what type of oil , how much to buy and how to do it . Good luck

Assuming you live in a climate where temperatures drop below 0 in the Winter the Mobil website recommends 5W-30 for year round use. 5W-30 is a fuel efficient motor oil. You may squeeze a bit of fuel economy by switching to a full synthetic motor oil. Your crankcase and oil filter change requires 4.7 quarts of oil. Stick with top brands of motor oil: Valvoline, Quaker State, Havoline, Kendall and the only Pennsylvania brand left, Brad Penn.Castrol has too many carnival adds on TV trying to persuade people to buy their so-called synthetic oil because the LEADING BRAND regular 10W-30 had just puked it's guts out in some non-scientific test. Their lab monkeys are running around with clip boards grinning at each other nodding their heads.
