I have an 05 cr-v se and its a 4 cylinder and it will get up to 80-85. and i mean that is having the peddle all the way down. with my 4 cylinder the air conditioner still gets very cold. it will have enough go for any need. i mean really want are you going to do with it, drag race? just normal driving, it will do it just fine

Originally the Honda CR-V had only 126 hp, then that went to 146 but then in 2002 it went to 160 hp 2008 is 160.The models before 2002 were underpowered. The CR-V is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 166 hp and 161 pound-feet of torque. The engine comes paired to a five-speed automatic transmission, and buyers have a choice of front-wheel drive or an all-wheel-drive system that only apportions power to the rear wheels when front slippage occurs. In performance testing, an all-wheel-drive CR-V went from zero to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds, a slow time for this class of vehicle. What it lacks in quickness, it makes up for in fuel economy, however. For 2008, the front-wheel-drive CR-V achieves a 20 mpg city/27 mpg highway rating.Still many say that it is under-powered. I own a 2002 and personally I feel it has all the power I need. You really need to test drive one to see if it has enough for you.
