Default starting problem

My name is sondra! I'm currently having problems with a 93 honda accord. I baught it three weeks ago and all of a sudden when i fuel it up it don't want to start up or when i sits in the sun for a period of time it don't want to start. Many people say its the main relay. but after I found that out yesturday i went out to take the car to the mechanic and after i backed it up it was reading it was in park and overdrive at the same time and it was reving up and down and acting like it was sucking for gas. so i let it sit over night and took it in today and all of sudden it acted like it didn't want to driver faster than 50 mph. Can someone please help me i'm pregnant and due in nov. and i can't have a car not wanting to start on me?
