I'm looking for some reliable advice on what type of turbo I could put in a V4 1.6L 1590cc L4 MFI engine if any.

You could install a wide variety of turbos on that engine. A smaller turbo will spool up (create boost) faster (lower RPMs) while a larger turbo will have more lag. You will also need to rebuild the motor with forged internals if you plan for high boost.

if you have the d16z6 in your ef. You could run a t3/t4 turbo and safely boost about 7-8 psi on stock internals
