My Honda civic 2003 car remote stopped working.

It was equipped with Sony battery CR 2025.

I replaced the same with NEW Duracell as well as Energizer brands. But it is not working ??

Do I have to follow specific procedure ?

Any code input / extra buttons to be presed ??
