My 98 Civc got water in the gas tank (apparently it was just a little bit but it really caused problems) and wouldn't start because of it. Try putting some gas line cleaner in - that's what my cousin did to fix mine. Check the spark plugs too - they go up easily.

I know the autozone near us does a free check of the computer. If the check engine light is on you could try getting it to one of them...

Check in this order:1. battery (should be charged and in good condition -take it to be checked to an auto store).2. alternator (should be working -sometimes it cranks but is no good).3. module ignition (when did you changed it, they fail not often, but if they do.And with this check the gas pressure in the lines. How?..turn the key on the On position (don't crank it), and try to hear the "whizz" sound immediately after you turned it on. The same module ignition controls the gas flow to the engine!..

check Alternator? Injectors? your actually getting the "ignition" sound? but it wont idle? If that's the case, check fuel pressure (lines)
