Default 91 Accord spark issues

A little history first... Yesterday my elderly neighbor contacted me saying her car wouldn't start. I checked it out and pulled the plug wires, lo and behold there was about 3 inches of oil in each of the holes. So I did a full tune up including replacing the valve cover gasket, cap and rotor, plugs and wires along with the airfilter and it started right up. She did not drive it at all that day, and I have also installed previously a battery cut off since she has a slow drain somewhere in the car that I do not have the technical know how or time to fix. Today, she calls me again and it won't start again. I go out, turn it over, and its not firing like yesterday. I pull the plug wires and check for spark, no spark. I have to push this car out to the street to work on it since our management team are not bein nice, so before I do all that I would like someone to point me in the right direction. This is a vehicle that has not been taken care of very well, yesterday the spark was more of a yellow flame then blue, but when i got it started it ran perfect so not sure where to go. Thanks for your help. Also, it seems like the rotor has a lot of freeplay, just the rotor itself not the cam its tight as can be but i can move the rotor a good 1/2 to 1 inch back and forth and not sure if this is normal for this system.

What am I missing here? Is it because its an elderly person whose car is having an issue and not some kid with a tuner car wanting to know how to install an air filter? Or am I totally off and a vehicle not having spark is just so difficult to diagnose its beyond anyone that browses these forums to give a hint? I know this will probably offend some people, your welcome for the guilt trip and I no longer expect a reply... even though I doubt any replies were forthcoming in the first place at least I feel better.
