it doesn't really add that much sound, unless you combine it with a catback.

the stock system is basically a cold air intake system. don't let yourself be fooled by people putting fancy chromed out pipes in the engine bay. observe carefully and you'll see the the stock only takes in air that is coming from the outside of the engine via being ram aired from the front of the car through the grill or from inside the fender of the car. really, the only thing that is restricting air flow is the generic paper filter. replace it with a more breathable filter such as a KnN or the fram's air hogs stock replacement filter. i've been playing with hondas since the late 80's and an iceman intake isn't any more noticeable with power then what i've recommended unless you intend to shoot NOS or go turbo/supercharge.if it's sound that you only want, then go ahead and be a ricer all day long with a snortin noisy for nothing expensive intake. the real sound should be the soft deep rumbling tone coming out of your exhaust pipe which has been custom tuned by a really good muffler technician. if you want the car to fart really loud then you can be a ricer a day long with an expensive bolt on fart can.

If you want the sound, go for it. Like the previous comment stated though, those cold air intakes, cat back, lowering kit don't make your car any faster. I did all those things to my last accord and it may had increase my 0-60 in 2-3/100 of a second. I'm not gonna knock the ricers though like the previous post. We all gotta have a hobby at some point in out lives.
