Default engine swapping with a 99 auto Civic ex!? Help?

Hi i want to do an engine swap, swpaping out my D16 with either a B16a2 or a 96-01 H22 Prelude engine. I was wondering though, if i buy the B16a Longblock with auto transmission would i need to make any modifications besides removing my D16 engine and tranny? or would it just fit right in? Also same question with the prelude H22 longblock Engine with auto tranny, which i think has 190HP. Would it fit right in or would i need to make more modifications to make it fit? The long block would include everything, ecu, fuel pump all of the engine/tranny. 10 points to best answer any info is greatly appreciated, and pelase don't tell me to just invest in a new car or change to stick. Thanks in advance!

i know you said not too... But you need to change to manual! if your gonna do an engine swap and keep it auto, its useless. but a b16a2 engine is an easy swap, i would prefer a b16a2 but that is just me. I have not done a h22 swap so i cant really answer that, but b16 is easier!to the guy below me, um, a K20 swap is not that cheap and you have to do a good amount of modifications for it to fit. the easiest for this guy would be a B16A2. Its basically a plug and play swap

OMG stop posting (you know who you are coughK20cough)do the H swap, I have done them both. A b16 is just a bigger version of a d16z6 stock 110 bhp d16 160bhp b16, although the b can be modded to more all motor power.. but the H is 185whp. its not that hard, you can buy a mount kit, and instructions to ALTER YOUR EXISTING HARNESS are everywhere, you don't need a new harness, you just need to run 3-5 wires thats it for vtec (if your car isn't already equipped) and for knock sensors, and maybe lengthen a few wires here and there to fit their designated placesyou will be more happy with a H swap trust meand tardo with the k comment... he could buy an H and all motor build it to 300 + hp for the price of a K... check out and see what deals they have for a complete swap, trans, ecu, the works.IMHO I would switch to manual... you get better performance, and change the setup to an H2B... H22a motor B16 trans ( they sell a kit now) you get the best of both worlds with the sort throws of a B and the power of an H... if you want message me and I will show you a vid of my project H being dynoed vs my project B... and they both took 2 days to swap completely
