Default I have a honda civic 2007, is it normal to lose some of its engine oil between recommended...

...maintenance? How much is acceptable loses in liters.

My husband, who works for Honda, says that when they are new they might lose a bit of oil between service checks, but not more than one eighth of a litre, if that. It should be under warranty. Check with a Honda dealer.

Under warranty? Take it in and have it looked at.
Always use the best oil and filter.
