Having a huge problem! Need help!
I drive a 99' Honda Accord LX. Lately it has been acting up, where the lights on my dash go out and all of my gauges appear to shut off and then come back on magically. It occasionally kills the car, but sometimes it just adds a little "bump". For awhile, i noticed it was only when I had my turn signal on.
Today I was driving and I noticed it doing it again, so i turned on two roads, using my turn signals, and my idea was right. Smoke starting coming from my steering column, so I decided to head to the local park to give it a look. Now it won't start at all. I try to start the car, and it fires, but will not stay on. I can't even move it into neutral! Any ideas on what it is? What I should do? How I can put it in neatral?
