I Got a 1989 Honda Civic Hatch Back And i pulled the stock D15B2 Carburetor motor out and im dropping in a D15B7 Fuel Injected motor and none of the wires match up. am i gonna have to buy a whole new wire harness??? i have the new ecu to the new motor. and will the fuel line connect to it no problem or what???If anything else im forgetting plz inform me what exactly i need to do for this motor to run in this car i already have the motor in but nothing connected. and let me know what i need and where i can get it from and for how much to fire this car back up. Thanks !well the old engine had 2 fuel injectors and the rest was carbed. so i know it has a intank fuel pump.

>> am i gonna have to buy a whole new wire harness??? yes of course. There's much more electronics in the fuel injected engine.===i>> have the new ecu to the new motor. and will the fuel line connect to it no problem or what???"Or what." The Carb engine has fuel pump on the side of the engine. Fuel injected engines have fuel pumps in the gas tank. So they will NOT work AS IS.Sorry that's all I know.Good Luck...

ok first of all the d15b2 in your hatch is not carburated!its fuel injected! its called DPFI (Dual Port Fuel Injection)which only uses 2 injectors. Now the Si models were the only ones with 4 injectors. called MPFI (Multi Port Fuel Injection) and this is the setup u need for the dD5b7.Now to make this happen with less confusion, u will need to get a hold of a complete Si Intake manifold with injectors. and the Si ecu if not a 90-91 integra non vtec ecu will work also.heres a write up i found, it tells u exactly what u need and what to do.http://hondacrx881.tripod.com/mpfiswap.html
