Hi, i currently own a Honda Civic year 2002. One of the warning light in my car all of a sudden is turned on. It's the one that cautions you and tells you to check the car system. It's like a picture of an engine. Well i checked my car and nothing seems wrong. So my question is how do i turn the light off?

you checked your car yourself? maybe you should take it to a mechanic, those lights don't just randomly go on.

theres sumthin wrong if the lights on. the only way to turn the light off is to fix the problem

Take it into the shop. Only they can turn the light off, and also tell you what went wrong in your car to make it come on.

Disconnect your battery, turn on the headlight switch for about five to ten minutes, and re-connect the battery.

Take it to a dealer or auto shop to have it checked. Mine did that (different car though) and they had to change my oxygen senor and re-set the warning light. Better to be safe than sorry, could be something really wrong with it and I'd hate to see you stall out somewhere.

Most mechanic shops have a machine that they can hook up to your car that will tell you why the light went on and will reset the light. But unless you take care of the problem, the light will come back on.

Theress usually a reason for a check engine light to come on....it tells you to bring it to a mechanic to get the engine checked lol. But you need a special $10,000 ODBII scanner that plugs into the cars computer which reads the codes and turns the light off. Most auto repair places has them (Honda dealer, Firestone, etc.) (Autozone will scan your car for free and tell you whats up but wont fix it lol
