I have just recently purchased this car and what i have noticed is when i am driving it smells alot like gasoline, could it be that the engine needs oil or something?

If you're smelling gas it could be the vehicle has a gas leak or the gas mixture is too rich.I'd be looking and checking for gas leaks or damp or wet spots occurring once car is parked , plus try to park on dry surfaces so you can look right under the car when approaching it for leaks and check the parking spot once you move vehicle. I'd not be surprised that a vehicle that age has a gas leak either. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way I might try getting a free check done , just tell a shop you trust that you suspect a gas leak or go back to the place you bought the car from and have them check.Be sure not to agree to any repair bills unless you see the actual cause of the leak and you get at least a second opinion.
