Which is the stronger and most fuel efficient a honda civic or a toyota corolla?

Civic all the way. They get 36 mpgs while corolla gets 35 mpgs. and the civic has 130 bhp while corrola has 125 bhp.

It all depends on which Civic you're comparing; the EX, DX, HX, CX, SI, VP. The SI is obviously the strogest one of all, but doesn't get the best mpg. Now if you're looking for a gas sipper, you could look at either a CX, DX or HX. They get better mpg's due to smaller intake manifold (it doesn't have to burn as much gas).But to answer your question, I'm more of a Honda person, so I'd go with the Civic.

Corolla by far as with newer motors blows away Civic gets 38MPG average in all except HP XRS.

I just would like to tell you what I have. I drive a 1997 Honda Civic 4-Door Sedan 1.6 VTEC B16E Engine. The fuel usage is around 10 Kilometers per Liter City Driving and around 12 Kms per Liter in the Highway. My wife drives a 2004 Toyota Corolla Altis 4-Door Sedan 1.6 Liter VVTi Engine E model. She is doing around 11 Kms per Liter city driving and 14 to 15 Kms per Liter in the Highway. Remember the Toyota is much newer but both has almost the same odometer reading which is only around 40,000 Kms. Reason being is that the Honda is my brothers car and he is out of the country most of the time. He gave it to me last year. Hope I helped a little. Cheers.

it depends on which kind of each.. but if i was to choose, i'll definitely go for the civic. my friend choked his engine to lessen its fuel consumption.
