08 accords are frickin huge but are nice cars. the civic is roomy enough for most people. if i'm understanding your question correctly, i'd opt for the civic over accord. better gas mileage, easier to park and navigate. i just hate that the accord is now full-size.

get the civic it is a sportier car than the accord and it gets great mpg unless your going get the v6 accord get the civic because my mom has the 4 cylinder accord and it is not very fast the civic is way faster.
