Better intake system including new air filter and the exhaust is a good start, probably the cheapest way to increase horsepower. High performance spark plugs are also an option. You might be able to get a supercharger kit but they start at over $3000.http://www.procivic.com/pages-main_p...70/engine.html

Cold air intake, exhaust system, and cam are good starts. You could always go with nitrous too.

It really all depends on what kind of power you're looking to make, what kind of budget you have, etc.For lower power gains, and an even lower budget, (speaking from experience) a good short ram intake, header, cat-back exhaust, and a stage one cam are a good start for power. You can buy most of these items on eBay for relatively cheap that work just as well as name brand products that cost at least twice as much.To put the power down properly, you might need a sportier clutch, lightened flywheel, sticky tires, and a set of performance axles.Bigger brake calipers, brake rotors, shocks, struts, etc. are just a few more things you can look into. Like I said, it really just depends on what you're wanting to do.Good luck on the Honda and e-mail me if you have any questions at all. I can more than likely answer most anything you throw at me. I used to have a 2000 Honda Civic Si with a fully built B16 VTEC and a T3/T4 ball baring turbo. Anything for a fellow Honda fan. =)

6lbs of turbo boost from a good turbo kit should quench your thirst and you can run that on stock internals.

Get a better ecu on it that brings the vtec in earlier. Its like a mini turbo. Mine kicks in at 4500 rpm and revs all the way to 8500 probably 9000 but i don't wana blow it up.Also induction kits are a must. It all depends on your budget if its a big budget turbo it
